First and foremost these opinions are mine and not of the USPS and/or NMHPU, again they are of my own opinions. It is just my justification that we, as Mail Handlers should get a fair share of the pie as others.
So as Mail Handlers, we now have to sort Flats (that is traditionally done by clerks who work at a level higher than us). As we never want to deny any work and to get as much work as possible, this is about job security as well as job equality. Lets compare the wages of the Mail Handlers and Clerks:
Here are the comparison of wages of FULL TIME REGULARS hired before February 15, 2013.
Here are the comparison of wages of FULL TIME REGULARS hired after February 15, 2013.
So do you, as newly converted PSE and new FULL TIME REGULARS think this is fair?
Although some pay is close to being equal and some pay is higher and some pay is lower of the Clerks, Clerks still are assigned a higher level, I believe we should receive same level equality for performing the same work. (I will expound on this later).
